The Trade-Union House of those who are working in the transport field in Sofia, Bulgaria is functioning for about 70 years and from its establishment since now is continuing the cultural traditions of the transport workers.

Priority in our activities is preserving and spreading of the folklore traditions which are so specific and typical feature of the Balkan states.

Bright representative of this trend is the Folklore Ensemble which for five decades is passing on from generation to generation the rhythm, cheerfulness and the beauty of the Bulgarian folk songs and dances. In its repertoire you could find dances and customs from all over the country regions.

The Ensemble is participant in all the cultural activities of the Trade-Union House and the Ministry of the transport. It was taken part also in many Bulgarian and International festivals and concerts where it was awarded first prizes and insignia of honour. The Ensemble has been visited many countries such France, Italy, Germany, Poland, Balkan states, United States of America and many others.

After a few years break in the conditions of hard economic transition of the country, now the Folklore Ensemble is gathering strength again and is taking part in the Bulgarian and International cultural life.

Now the Ensemble increasingly acquires the people love and admiration for its songs and dances.
